Additional public transport runs will be organized on July 5 and 6
On July 5 and 6, due to rehearsals of the XXVI All-Latvian Song Festival and the XVI Dance Festival that will be held at Daugava stadium and in Mežaparks, additional public transport runs that will depart until 2:00 from the city centre will be organized on the following routes:
- bus routes No. 2, 3, 11, 12/23/26 (combined route crossing Akmens Bridge), 18, 24, 25, 37, 40, 50, 51 and 53;
- tram routes No. 1, 5, 7, 10 and 11;
- trolleybus routes No. 9, 14, 15, 17, 18, 22 and 27.
Thursday, 5th July
Special trolleybus route „Central Railway Terminal – Daugava stadium” will be organized according to the passenger flow as of 19:00 due to the dress rehearsal that will take place at Daugava stadium.
The trolleybus will run from the Central Railway Terminal along Satekles Street, Marijas Street, Aleksandra Čaka Street, Stabu Street, Avotu Street, Jāņa Asara Street. In the direction of the Central Railway Terminal, the trolleybus will run along Jāņa Asara Street, Avotu Street, Matīsa Street, Aleksandra Čaka Street, Marijas Street, Elizabetes Street, Satekles Street.
Additional runs will be also organised on trolleybus routes No. 5, 11 and 22 and on bus routes No. 6 and 52 according to the passenger flow before and after the dress rehearsal.
Additional runs will be also organised according to the passenger flow on tram route No. 11, due to the rehearsal in Mežaparks.
Friday, 6th July
Special trolleybus route „Central Railway Terminal – Daugava stadium” will be organized according to the passenger flow as of 18:00 due to the dress rehearsal that will take place at Daugava stadium.
The trolleybus will run from the Central Railway Terminal along Satekles Street, Marijas Street, Aleksandra Čaka Street, Stabu Street, Avotu Street, Jāņa Asara Street. In the direction of the Central Railway Terminal, the trolleybus will run along Jāņa Asara Street, Avotu Street, Matīsa Street, Aleksandra Čaka Street, Marijas Street, Elizabetes Street, Satekles Street.
